Linda (Kellie Bright ) has kept her family in the dark after being raped by her brother-in-law Dean Wicks earlier this month, leaving her partner Mick deeply concerned over the change in her behaviour.
As a traumatised Linda has trouble sleeping, Mick starts to despair and pleads with her to tell him what is wrong.
Although Linda explains that she feels guilty for hitting Dexter Hartman a few weeks ago and invites him over for dinner, Mick remains unconvinced and books an appointment with the doctor.
The situation gets worse when the dinner with Dexter doesn't go as planned, and Linda's erratic behaviour leaves Mick more concerned than ever.
When Linda is later violently sick after smelling the lavender bath foam that Mick is using, he tells her that he has worked out what is wrong and thinks she is pregnant.
Worried that Mick could be right, a panicked Linda rushes to the chemist to buy a pregnancy test. Later on, she locks herself in the bathroom and takes the test...

When Maria (Samia Ghadie) drives Luke (Dean Fagan) to a country cottage to view a car, they spend the journey bickering over her driving skills.
The day goes from bad to worse when the car's owner suddenly becomes unwell while out on a test drive, leaving Maria and Luke to hastily call an ambulance.
After the man gets rushed off to hospital, Maria and Luke find themselves stranded and are forced to set off back to the house on foot.
Although they blame each other for their disastrous day and argue, it is clear there is a spark between them...

Coming up on Emmerdale, Laurel Dingle lands herself in trouble with the police as the pressures of her recent family troubles begin to take their toll.
Laurel (Charlotte Bellamy) grows frustrated over the coming days as she can see that Marlon's young daughter April isn't coping following Donna's death, but Marlon stubbornly refuses to seek help from a grief specialist.
When Laurel meets Nicola King for lunch and discusses the problem over a glass of wine, she is suddenly interrupted by a call from the school, who tell her that April has fallen asleep in a lesson.
Laurel is asked to come and collect the youngster but is shocked on the way home when April confides her fears that Marlon might die.
As Laurel tries her best to deal with the difficult conversation, she is suddenly pulled over by PC Swirling and accused of driving erratically.
Laurel is ashamed when Swirling explains that he will be forced to breathalyse her after she admits that she has been drinking. How will Laurel react when she is told that she is over the legal limit?

Meanwhile, new Hollyoaks pictures show the moment that Cindy Cunningham finds herself in danger after being released from hospital for the day.
Cindy (Stephanie Waring) is allowed to spend a day visiting her family after showing improvement in the psychiatric unit, but it soon becomes clear to her daughter Holly that she is still unwell.
When Holly (Amanda Clapham) finds that Cindy has hidden her meals away, she realises that her mum still thinks her family are trying to poison her.
Holly is quick to warn Cindy's partner Dirk Savage that they need to tell the hospital about her latest setback, but when Cindy overhears, her paranoia escalates and she decides to make an escape.
Cindy's attempts to get away from her family lead to her running into some woods before falling into a lake as Holly chases her.

After a busy day at The Mill, Heston (Owen Brenman) is shocked to come face-to-face with Curtis Brown after everybody else has gone home.
Heston attacked Curtis two years ago as he wanted to defend himself after the criminal broke into his home.
Now out of prison, Curtis tells Heston that he needs his help to secure a new job as a porter, wanting a reference.
When Heston refuses to help his old enemy, Curtis has to come clean about what he really wants - admitting that he has a pregnant girlfriend who is on lithium due to her bipolar and he is worried that the medication might harm his unborn child. Will Heston get involved with the case?
