Cinematographer Greig Fraser has joined Gareth Edwards's Star Wars film.
He described Star Wars as his "first film love".
The filmmaker - who has worked on Foxcatcher and Kathryn Bigelow's Zero Dark Thirty - has signed up for the spinoff film in Disney 's franchise (via The Playlist ).

"Gareth is doing a standalone film," Fraser told Hitfix . "Of course I do know some specifics, but it's obviously something I've signed my kidneys away for.
"I can't tell you what it's about," he continued. "I think I signed my left kidney to Disney and my right kidney to George Lucas.
"So I'd hate to be talking to you next time when I'm on dialysis."
Fraser added that he has not deliberately set out to do "big films".
Edwards's Star Wars film is expected to begin shooting in 2015.
