The Strokes frontman was previously quoted as saying that he felt nothing when playing the Is This It band's songs.

Speaking to Rolling Stone , he said: "It's still fun to see people react, but do I emotionally feel anything from it? No.
"A little while ago, I saw someone perform a cover of some Top 40 song in an empty bar, like he probably just learned it two days ago. He was probably enjoying playing that more than I enjoy playing 'Last Nite'. I just smiled about it."
However, posting on Twitter, Casablancas insisted that he does in fact enjoy playing tracks from their repertoire.
"There were times with the Strokes when maybe we had some issues, but they are resolved now (and have been for a little while now)," he clarified.
"I very much enjoy playing with them!"
Last month, Casablancas suggested that The Strokes could begin working on new material early next year.
"In January, we might meet up and work on some ideas. Everyone is psyched. Everything is in a really cool place," the 36-year-old said.
