Speaking to Digital Spy at Radio 1's Teen Awards, the group revealed that they have also recruited MNEK and Jess Glynne for their next record.
"We're really excited. We just want to get it out but we're taking our time and having fun with it. We're working with some amazing people. Watch out!" Perrie Edwards said.
Jesy Nelson added: "I think it's just a step up really - production, vocals, everything."
Earlier this year, Little Mix cancelled their tour of the US in order to prioritise their third album.
The group's last record Salute was released in November last year, reaching number 4 in the UK and number 6 in the US.
