Bobby Shmurda’s Dropped Gun Charge May Still Come Back To Haunt Him

Bobby Shmurda is facing some serious allegations, and while it looked like he evaded at least one of his gun charges, it is now being reported that the 20-year-old rapper will be facing the charge for the alleged June 2014 incident when he heads into court on Thursday (Jan. 29).

On Monday, Brooklyn District Attorney Ken Thompson’s office, confirmed with XXL that they would be dropping a 2014 gun charge he had previously been facing. On Wednesday, XXL reported that the Brooklyn D.A.’s office only dropped the charge as a formality and the 2014 gun rap has now been added on to the Special Narcotics indictment against Shmurda and his GS9 crew.

On December 17, Bobby and numerous members of his crew were arrested in New York City. The rapper was charged with a host of other charges including conspiracy to commit murder in the second degree, one count of criminally using drug paraphernalia and now the gun charge in question. Shmurda is scheduled to appear in court today.
