Plans are underway to accommodate fans hoping to follow in the footsteps of Michael Rodwell and Gail McIntyre, Steve McDonald and Karen Phillips, and Jason Grimshaw and Becky Granger, by popping the question on the cobbles.
The tour will hand out chocolate and champagne to all newly engaged couples.
Also, consolation ice cream will be made available to all those who are unlucky enough to be unsuccessful in their proposal.
Couples can also choose to marry in the Rovers Return Inn, which holds a full marriage licence.
Coronation Street The Tour's General Manager Andy Begg said: "Coronation Street is a big part of millions of people's lives and so it makes sense that they would like to carry out an important life event here by proposing to their loved ones on the old Corrie cobbles.
"As it's Valentine's Day we wanted to make it that little bit more special by gifting the newly engaged couples with champagne and chocolates.
"We understand that not everyone who is asked the big question says 'yes', and so as a small gesture from us we will also be giving the one who has just been turned down a tub of ice cream to help cheer them up."
Coronation Street's official tour was recently given a festive makeover in time for Christmas.
It was previously announced that Coronation Street the Tour will remain open into 2015.
