If Super Bowl 2015 Were A Movie, These Stars Would Def Make The Cut

The 2015 Super Bowl has already seen its fair share of drama, thanks to Patriots quarterback Tom Brady’s controversial “deflated balls.” In fact, it’s the kind of drama movies are made of, so obviously, we cast it.

That’s right — it’s time to draft our celebrity picks for the future film that might happen (but probably won’t) to honor this important moment in time (and Brady’s balls).

Who’s lacing up to play the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks in our hypothetical sports flick? Check out our fantasy draft below:

The New England Patriots

Bill Belichick (Coach) — Kevin Spacey

If anyone can handle a PR nightmare like #Deflategate, it’s Spacey. He’s got it handled.

Tom Brady (QB) — Chris Evans

Not only is Evans a diehard Patriots fan, but it’s fitting for a Captain to play QB. He’s a true leader. Plus, we think he’d be great at feeling the balls.

Julian Edelman (Wide receiver) — Chris Pratt

We know Pratt is a Seahawks fan, but in our imaginary flick, Star-Lord and Cap play for the same team.

Danny Amendola (Wide receiver) — Joe Manganiello

Manganiello has the physique of a football player, which we’re pretty sure is 90 percent all about the butt.

Darrelle Revis (Cornerback) — Idris Elba

More screen time for Elba is a win for humanity, even if it’s a hypothetical movie about football.

Kyle Arrington (Cornerback) — Michael B. Jordan

He may not be QB for the Lions anymore, but that doesn’t mean Jordan has forgotten the rules of the game.

The Seattle Seahawks

Pete Carroll (Coach) — Ted Danson

It’s all about the hair.

Russell Wilson (QB) — Alfonso Ribeiro

Okay, so maybe Ribeiro is a little too old to play Wilson now, but back in his Carlton days, this would have been perfect casting, amirite?

Luke Wilson (Tight end) — Adam Driver

Getty Images

It seems like Driver is getting cast in everything these days, so why not cast him in a fake movie?

Doug Baldwin (Wide receiver) — Big Sean

Getty Images

Who cares if Big Sean can act. We know he’ll make an excellent hype man on the field.

Cooper Helfet (Tight end) — Liam Hemsworth

Getty Images

Helfet is a tight end and Hemsworth has a tight end. Perfect casting or what?

Steven Hauschka (Kicker) — Ryan Gosling

Hey girl, are you ready for some football?

Marshawn Lynch (Running back) — Marshawn Lynch

As if anyone else could even play Marshawn Lynch. #BeastMode
