Justin Bieber Gets Deeply Personal On Two New Songs: Listen Now

Just think — every single day that passes brings us one step closer to new music from Justin Bieber. I’ll let that pause to sink in.

Every Belibers’ dreams came true on Wednesday, Jan. 28 when he posted not one, but two snippets of brand-new songs on Instagram, and it seems, in his year off, he has been asking himself some pretty tough questions.

“How do our lies become lighter?/ How do our eyes become brighter?/ You gotta believe in something higher,” he sweetly sings on the first slow tempo track.

The second song seems to get a bit more personal as he sings about a relationship gone wrong, which I’m sure many will suspect is about his break-up with Selena Gomez.

“When it’s raining, it’s pouring/ How do I always end up the enemy?/ How do I wake up in the morning and you’re not right next to me?/ How did we throw it all away?” he sings on the mid-tempo song.

If these songs, plus his recent surprise acoustic show in Los Angles, are any indication, it appears Justin’s going back to his roots, just him and his guitar, letting his vocals truly shine.

Granted, Justin still hasn’t gifted us with an actual release date, but until that day comes, Justin, we give you full permission to keep dropping teasers.
