Rihanna threw us all for a loop when she released her brand new song “FourFiveSeconds,” and I couldn’t be more excited that she did.
But I’m not the only one that’s obsessed with this calming laid-back song, which features Kanye West and Beatles legend Paul McCartney. It seems like everyone else is as well, including Lorde who is seriously ‘fourfive seconds from wildin’…in a good way.
The “Yellow Flicker Beat” singer took to Twitter to share the impact that the song already has on her saying that Rihanna’s new jam, which is the first single off Rih’s much anticipated upcoming album R8, is a song that we’ll all be singing along to “and holding each other for years.”
I mean, there’s really no other way to describe it then like this:
And it’s pretty safe to assume that this song has already has solidified itself as a classic in Lorde’s book.
Oh, and let’s take a moment to notice that Lorde is “in a studio by the ocean,” so hopefully she’s changed the fact that she’s “tentatively” making music to definitely making music.
