Martin Scorsese 's HBO TV documentary about Bill Clinton has reportedly been shelved.
The newspaper reported that the former US President wanted more input into the film's interview questions and its final cut.
Scorsese's spokesman has not commented on the dispute, but HBO stated: "[The film's] not happening soon but that doesn't mean it's not going to happen."

The project - announced back in December 2012 - has ground to a halt due to disagreements between Clinton and producers, according to the New York Times .
The newspaper reported that the former US President wanted more input into the film's interview questions and its final cut.
However, a spokesman for Clinton has stated that the claims were "inaccurate".
The film has been partly shot over the past two years, and would have seen Clinton making a philanthropic visit to South Africa.
Scorsese's spokesman has not commented on the dispute, but HBO stated: "[The film's] not happening soon but that doesn't mean it's not going to happen."
Back when it was first announced, Scorsese described Clinton as "a towering figure who remains a major voice in world issues".
He added: "Through intimate conversations, I hope to provide greater insight into this transcendent figure."
Martin Scorsese is currently working on his next film Silence , starring Liam Neeson and Andrew Garfield.
