Caillou had written a hearfelt post about his appreciation for Taylor, pointing out how fans fuel her and how she deeply cares about them. But after explaining why he likes her music, he admitted he gets bullied.
Taylor saw the post and gave Caillou a lengthy response, spouting her words of wisdom, and telling him not to let people affect him.
It’s hard to “Shake It Off” when people are shaming your body and other things you can’t control — easier said, right? — but coming from someone who gets “she’s too skinny” every day, it’s nice to know that it can be done.
Go Taylor! And go Caillou!
