The pair joined Team Rita on Saturday's (January 31) show, but not before joking in their introductory video about how many women come to their gigs.
"I'm hoping the girls turn that part off!" Ally joked to Digital Spy, while Callum added: "I'm hoping they don't watch that part and then they might actually think we're alright!"
Ally also joked about how his parents behaved during the audition - asking: "Is it shocking?" - while Callum admitted that he fell off the stage during rehearsals.
"I full on fell off stage as we were walking off," he said. "Right down by the chairs, ended up on the floor with me legs in the air and hugging the guitar. I waited for like a hole to just appear and take me away, but it didn't. Luckily, it wasn't caught on camera."
As Ally joked that "there's only one person that could ever happen to", Callum added: "It was quite dark and I think I need to get my eyesight tested anyway, but I couldn't really see, and I just wasn't thinking. I just put my foot there and there was no longer a stage and I just walked off it – straight off!"
The duo also joked that they have had their fair share of gig disasters in the past, with Callum laughing: "Probably too many to mention on the phone call here. We've had loads of things. We've had places where we've turned up to a gig and instead of turning up to the gigging venue we've turned up to the guy's house who booked us for the gig! That was a bit of a disaster."
Ally added: "Put it this way, Callum's not very good with a sat nav!"
The Mac Bros also revealed that they have "very different" musical influences and admitted that they argue "pretty much every day" - but "only like brothers would argue".
Following their blind audition - which was a mash-up of 'Bohemian Rhapsody', 'Johnny B Goode' and 'Oh My God' - the pair explained that they mix songs together on a regular basis.
"It's something that we're comfortable doing really – throwing songs in just randomly," Ally said. "It stays fresh to us and it keeps us entertained as performers. Except we didn't really get a chance to showcase as many as we can do on The Voice. You've only got 90 seconds to do what you've got to do!"
But the pair explained that they were "made up" when Rita Ora turned for them, adding that they are looking forward to seeing what she will do with them.
Responding to Ricky Wilson calling himself a "plonker" for not turning, Ally explained: "That's something we took from it – no-one said any criticism as such. We didn't have any negative comments about us and that made us feel really good. Obviously, growing up listening to bands like the Kaiser Chiefs, it was incredible to hear off Ricky."
The duo - who revealed that they had never heard the song that was picked for them in the battle rounds - also admitted that they want people to see what they're really like.
"When we're on the show, when you're under a lot of pressure, it's almost quite hard to be yourself because when you're not used to that pressure," they said, "you find yourself a bit like a fish out of water... We hope people see who we are."
