Host Ryan Seacrest delivered the results on Fox last night (March 11), which meant the end of the journey for four hopefuls.
Each contestant had to sing the songs they first auditioned with in a bid to secure a place in the next round.
The first ten to be put through were Sarina-Joi Crowe, Rayvon Owen, Daniel Seavey, Maddie Walker, Tyanna Jones, Nick Fradiani, Jax Cole, Qaasim Middleton, Clark Beckham and Joey Cook.
Judges Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban, and Harry Connick Jr had two wildcard places too, which they gave to Quentin Alexander and Adanna Duru.
The result spelled the departure of Mark Andrew, Adam Ezegelian, Loren Lott, and Alexis Gomez. Another contestant is set to leave the competition during tonight's show, as 12 become 11.
American Idol airs on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8pm on Fox.
