Speaking at the TRIC Awards, Brooke Vincent - who plays Sophie Webster in the ITV soap - told Digital Spy and others that Beverley Callard (Liz McDonald) has now moved into Kirkbride's dressing room.

"We're so quick at work. Not a policy, get on with it, but everyone knows she's still there, she's still around us," she explained.

"Beverley Callard has now moved into her dressing room with her name on the door as well. They were really close friends.

"Her legacy is still there and we all still think about her, and every time we walk past her dressing room we see her name," she added, confirming that the tribute is here to stay.
