After he opened up to an interviewer about the fluorescent details of his first-time sexual experience, you might think that Ansel Elgort has no boundaries when it comes to talking about his private life.
But nope: It turns out that the “Fault in Our Stars” actor is happy enough to discuss the below-the-belt stuff, sure. But start veering in the direction of his heart, and it’s an entirely different story.
“I don’t want anyone part of my love life besides me and the person I’m loving,” Elgort told Teen Vogue this month, in an interview that accompanies a dreamy photoshoot (including, among others, this super-sensual shot of Ansel nomming on a Twizzler. WUT.)

And despite being mega-famous for playing Augustus Waters, Elgort says that he’s found a pretty simple formula for keeping his private life under wraps.
“I’m still my biggest news source, so if I’m not posting about who I’m dating, people aren’t going to know,” he explained.
Which is a smart solution, albeit one that will only take him so far. Considering the projected trajectory of Ansel’s career, he’s gonna need enjoy the anonymity while it lasts. He’s probably got about… five minutes.
