Speaking to Variety this week, Paul said that the door remains open for him to appear in Better Call Saul.
"We always have fun having that discussion - Vince [Gilligan], myself, Peter [Gould], the writers," he said. "We just have no idea how that would happen. But hopefully one day."
Paul was also questioned on if he has enjoyed Better Call Saul thus far.
"I love it," he said. "It's a little weird because it kind of looks like Breaking Bad.

"It has somewhat of a little bit different tone, but I know everyone involved, and I'm not involved in it at all and it's a little weird, a little sad, but it's great."
Paul's Breaking Bad co-star Bryan Cranston has taken part in Better Call Saul as a director for an upcoming episode.
AMC airs Better Call Saul on Mondays at 10pm ET in the US. Netflix carries the series in the UK.
