Google is clamping down on malware on its Google Play store by reviewing apps before they go on sale.
Google has also introduced a new ratings system to Google Play to highlight which apps are appropriate for certain age groups, teaming up with regulatory bodies including ESRB, PEGI, USK, and ClassInd.
"Having PEGI ratings on more mobile platforms across Europe also means that we have a more consistent and clear rating process to help consumers understand which games are appropriate for all ages."

The web giant is now using a combination of algorithms and human intervention to prevent rogue apps from reaching the Android storefront.
Google has also introduced a new ratings system to Google Play to highlight which apps are appropriate for certain age groups, teaming up with regulatory bodies including ESRB, PEGI, USK, and ClassInd.
The Play store now rates games in accordance with the standards laid out by the International Age Rating Coalition (IARC) initiative.
"We are pleased to see major mobile platforms adopting the new IARC system, making it easy and, importantly, free for businesses that publish games to get age ratings across a number of major games markets," said Dr Jo Twist, CEO of UK trade body Ukie.
"Having PEGI ratings on more mobile platforms across Europe also means that we have a more consistent and clear rating process to help consumers understand which games are appropriate for all ages."
Google also announced that it has paid out more than $7 billion to Android developers to date.
