Just when you thought you wouldn’t hear new Drake music for a while, we get another surprise.
Drizzy gave his fans dozens of new verses on his February mixtape, If You’re Reading This, It’s Too Late, and we got one more to cap things off this weekend.
“Madonna” was one of the shortest tracks on the project, with just one brief verse, but things got extended in a new version released by OG Ron C & The Chopstars. Not only did the Houston DJ apply his patented chopped and screwed touch to the track — a precursor to his upcoming Chopped Not Slopped remix of the entire tape — but he also delivered a new Aubrey verse.
Plus, don’t be surprised if Drake works with the real-life Madonna soon, too.
“I heard the whole mixtape, and it’s the best song,” she told Complex recently. “We’re gonna work together. Yeah, baby, it’s in the pipeline.”
We’re ready, baby.
