Christopher McQuarrie has offered a production update on Mission: Impossible 5, after filming was briefly paused.
When asked if the team had to re-shoot the ending, McQuarrie replied: "No. We had to prep it. Shooting it now."
The filmmaker was asked whether fans can expect a film title and trailer any time soon, to which McQuarrie simply replied: "Yes."

The director answered questions on Twitter during a Q&A session and responded to rumours that the upcoming film's big finale had to be re-filmed.
When asked if the team had to re-shoot the ending, McQuarrie replied: "No. We had to prep it. Shooting it now."
McQuarrie also said he received help from "many writers" when working on the sequel.
"I'm not ashamed to admit many writers have helped on this movie. Directing takes up all my time," he said.
The filmmaker was asked whether fans can expect a film title and trailer any time soon, to which McQuarrie simply replied: "Yes."
Reports that the film's original ending has been reworked surfaced in late February, with rumours that McQuarrie met with an unnamed writer to create the new conclusion.
Tom Cruise will return for Mission: Impossible 5, due for release on July 31.
