David Gilmour has announced a solo tour.
Gilmour's last solo tour came nearly a decade ago following the release of his album On An Island in 2006.
Tickets go on sale tomorrow (March 6), which is Gilmour's 69th birthday.

The Pink Floyd guitarist and singer will play eight dates across Europe in September, concluding with a three-night run at London's Royal Albert Hall.

Gilmour's last solo tour came nearly a decade ago following the release of his album On An Island in 2006.
Gilmour will play the following dates:
- September 12 - Pula, Arena Pula
- September 14 - Verona Arena
- September 15 – Florence, Teatro Le Mulina
- September 17 - Orange, Theatre Antique
- September 19 - Oberhausen, Konig-Pilsener Arena
- September 23, 24 & 25 – London, Royal Albert Hall

Gilmour previously announced plans to release a new solo album back in October.
Pink Floyd released their fifteenth studio album Endless River last year.
