According to photos of the chassis obtained by PhoneArena , a slot for extra storage is missing on the Sony Xperia Z4.
The handset may also drop down to about 6.3mm too, which would make it 1mm thinner than its predecessor.
If true, that would make the Xperia Z4 thinner than the iPhone 6 and Samsung Galaxy S6 too.
The reduction in thickness may also lead to waterproofing being removed from the device, as the microUSB appears to have moved to the bottom and is apparently no longer protected.
Samsung also done away with the microSD slot on board the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge, as well as a removable battery.
