Chris Soules has chosen the woman of his future in the season finale of this year's The Bachelor.
The farmer proposed to Whitney Bischoff in the final rose ceremony, which took place in his family barn.
Before the 33-year-old could pop the big question, he had the challenging task of letting fellow hopeful Becca Tilley down.
Soules told her he didn't think she was ready for a relationship, after Tilley had struggled to tell him whether she genuinely loved him.
During the final moments, Bischoff stood out as the clear winner. Soules's family were immediately smitten with her and the pair got on well harvesting corn together.
"I came here with an idea of who you were, and I've never been disappointed," Bischoff explained to Soules.
"Probably one of the best days of my life when we got to crash a wedding together, and I was like, holy cow, this woman is perfect for me," he responded.
"And being able to have you here today and being able to have you here in Iowa and meeting my family and seeing how they reacted to you.
"It's not work for us. It's natural, and it's like we both want the same thing, and it feels so right, and it feels so perfect, and that's what I want for the rest of my life. I love you."
Soules then got down on one knee and proposed, to which Bischoff happily accepted.
The Bachelor star will reportedly compete on upcoming season of Dancing with the Stars next, although he is yet to confirm his participation.
