The sketch also stars Kenan Thompson as Lucious, Sasheer Zamata as Cookie, Jay Pharoah as Jamal and Leslie Jones as Porsha.
The new office manager tries to get along with typical office activities such as birthday-card signing and birthday celebrations, but his efforts aren't met with enthusiasm from his co-workers.
"Empire...now with something for everyone," the trailer concludes, as Hemsworth's "white dude with khakis" Chip finds himself in increasingly awkward situations.
Hemsworth's stint as last night's (March 7) guest host also saw the actor take part in an Avengers sketch, and his opening monologue saw cameos from brothers Luke and Liam Hemsworth.
