When a mysterious object falls to earth, five strangers are brought together and told that they must band together as angels of the apocalypse to oppose evil.
The Messengers cast is led by One Tree Hill's Shantel VanSanten, Gossip Girl's Sofia Black-D'Elia, Super 8's Joel Courtney and Revolution's JD Pardo.
Diogo Morgado also stars as a mysterious man who brings the angels together, after previously playing Jesus Christ in History's The Bible miniseries.
The Messengers will premiere on The CW on April 17.
