The live stream video from Nintendo of Japan offers an in-depth look at combat in the role-playing game, which will launch as a Wii U exclusive.
Xenoblade Chronicles X is a sequel to critically-acclaimed Wii role-playing game Xenoblade Chronicles, and is set to launch later this year.
The game was announced at Nintendo Direct in January, along with the news that Wii remake Xenoblade Chronicles 3D will arrive on New 3DS in April.
Developer Monolith Soft previously revealed that Xenoblade Chronicles X will include online features, unlike its predecessor.
A specific release date for Xenoblade Chronicles X is yet to be confirmed.
