The last time we were gifted with a new “Pitch Perfect 2” clip, the Barden Bellas were flaunting their flawlessness with a Beyonce power jam, proving once and for all that girls run the effin’ world.
But in the latest new clip from the sequel, the girls are bringing out all the feels with a goosebumps-inducing a cappella rendition of “Cups.” Unlike Anna Kendrick’s chipper, clappy version of the song in the original movie, this one is somber yet sweet, emotional yet beautiful.
We’ve already seen a tiny bit of this clip in the movie’s trailer, but in the full version, you get to hear Beca’s uncharacteristically vulnerable speech to her fellow Bellas, as well as the soaring delicacy they give to “Cups.”
