Meanwhile, ITV rival The X Factor picked up 7.82m (33.3%) at 8pm, down 360k from last week. It peaked with 8.63m at 8.45pm, while a further 282k (1.4%) caught the programme on +1.
Back on BBC One, Atlantis took 4.66m (19.9%) at 8.30pm, down 400k on last week. Casualty was watched by 3.97m (17.6%) at 9.30pm, while The Rolling Stones Return to Hyde Park: Sweet Summer Sunday attracted 1.62m (12%) an hour later.
On BBC Two, Count Arthur Strong interested 330k (1.5%) at 7pm and Meerkats: Secrets of an Animal Superstar was seen by 650k (2.7%) at 7.30pm.
Dad's Army took 1.5m (6.4%) at 8.30pm and The 70s appealed to 1.38m (6%) at 9pm, while The Sarah Millican Slightly Longer Television Programme had 1.07m (5.6%) at 10pm. At 10.45pm, Glorious 39 scored 430k (4.3%).
On ITV, The Chase earned 3.1m (13.8%) at 7pm (132k/0.5%) and The Jonathan Ross Show had 3.6m (22.8%) at 10.15pm (210k/2.3%).
The Rolling Stones at Hyde Park
On Channel 4, a Marvel's Agents of SHIELD repeat and Grand Designs had 570k (2.5%) and 590k (2.4%) respectively from 7pm (191k/0.8% and 146k/0.6%). Movie The Adjustment Bureau was watched by 1.31m (6.3%) at 9pm (307k/2%).
Channel 5 aired The Big Dig to 706k (3.1%) at 7pm (52k/1.2%). War Hero In My Family was seen by 381k (1.6%) at 8pm (56k/0.2%). A Fistful of Dollars followed with 896k (4.4%) from 9pm (141k/1%).
Foyle's War was the highest rated broadcast on the multichannels, bringing 751k (3.2%) to ITV3 at 8pm. The Xtra Factor finished in 22nd place with 377k (2.3%) at 10.15pm on ITV2.
