'DriveClub' 'delayed on PS4', follow 'Watch Dogs' 2014 release?

DriveClub could be delayed to 2014, according to reports.

The PS4 launch title's setback is yet to be confirmed by Sony, but The Same Coin and Kotaku are reporting that the racing game may be pushed back until next spring.

DriveClub will launch alongside the PS4 in November

DriveClub, which was originally planned to launch with the PS4 on November 15, was apparently removed from a Sony event in San Francisco on Thursday (October 16) because of a "scheduling conflict".

Paul Rustchynsky, DriveClub's design director, has tweeted: "Unfortunately guys I don't have any new information on DRIVECLUB to share."

Last month, the game received a new trailer from Evolution Studios featuring its Mercedes-Benz models and a brief glimpse at gameplay footage.

The rumours follow news that Watch Dogs has been delayed until spring 2014 on all platforms. The open world adventure was also set to launch with the PS4 next month.

Delays to Watch Dogs and The Crew could cost Ubisoft more than $500 million, the company has revealed.
