Thursday ratings: 'Glee' rises with Cory Monteith tribute episode

Glee's tribute to the late Cory Monteith had a massive climb in the ratings for the Fox show.

'The Quarterback' was up a massive 13 tenths from last week to an 18-49 demo rating of 2.9 (7.39m), making it the show's highest-rated episode since September 2012.

Earlier, The X Factor held steady with last week's 2.0 (6.49m) at 8pm.


On CBS, The Big Bang Theory was top overall once again, dipping a tenth to 5.1 (17.64m) at 8pm. The Millers was down three to 3.0 (11.73m) at 8.30pm.


The Crazy Ones dipped five to 2.4 (9.69m) at 9pm, while Two and a Half Men was down a tenth to a new series low of 2.3 (9.14m) at 9.30pm. Elementary dropped a single tenth to 1.9 (9.06m) at 10pm.


ABC's debut for Once Upon a Time in Wonderland achieved a low 1.7 (5.82m) at 8pm, down five from Last Resort in the same slot last year.

Grey's Anatomy fell three to 2.8 (8.79m) at 9pm, while Scandal dropped five to 3.1 (9.01m) at 10pm.


NBC's Parks and Recreation matched last week's 1.2 (3.23m) at 8pm. Welcome to the Family dipped three to a low of 0.8 (2.49m) at 8.30pm.


Sean Saves the World fell four to 1.0 (3.26m) at 9pm, while The Michael J Fox Show dropped a further five to 1.2 (3.86m) at 9.30pm. Parenthood was down three to a series low of 1.2 (3.77m) at 10pm.


NBC's 18-49 average of 1.1 is the network's lowest ever for a Thursday.


On The CW, The Vampire Diaries dipped two to 1.0 (2.14m) at 8pm.
