Just when you thought Fox News' holiday coverage couldn't get more ridiculous, it turns out the network thought live interviews with drunk Miamians was a good idea during its "All-American New Year's Eve."
While live on air at a party on Miami Beach -- "after that it's Afrojack!" -- correspondent Phil Keating corralled a reveler he addressed as a "tall drink of water" before telling her to share a message with the nation.
"We got 5 minutes until 2014," she yelled into the camera, "and we're going to fuck shit up!"
Oops. Here's guessing that's an acquaintance Keating wishes he could forget. But hey, maybe Miami just learned from the best.
