Four people 'questioned over drugs at Philip Seymour Hoffman's home'

Police have reportedly taken four people in for questioning in relation to drugs found at Philip Seymour Hoffman 's home.

The suspects were detained at an apartment in Manhattan, which has now been searched, according to TheWrap .

Philip Seymour Hoffman was found dead on Sunday






"A search warrant was conducted earlier today at 302 Mott Street in Manhattan," the spokesman said.

Reports yesterday (February 4) claimed that Hoffman had up to 50 bags of heroin in his home.


The 46-year-old Oscar-winning actor was found dead in his New York apartment on Sunday (February 2), after suffering an apparent heroin overdose.


New York City police have stated that they made the discovery of around 50 envelopes, some of which were empty while others were unopened. Tests have since confirmed that they contained heroin.


A private funeral for family and close friends of the actor will be held on Friday (February 7).
