Feeling like everyone is against him following his recent bad behaviour, Masood (Nitin Ganatra ) heads to Carol's house and lets off steam by confronting her over their break-up.
Carol (Lindsey Coulson) is distracted by concerns of her own as she starts her chemotherapy treatment the following morning, so she finally tells Masood about her illness.
A shocked Masood immediately goes on the defensive by insisting that he could have supported Carol when she needed it most, but when he finally breaks down, it's left to Carol to comfort him…
Carol ends up supporting Masood.
EastEnders airs tonight at 7.30pm on BBC One.
