What to Watch: Tonight's TV Picks - Super Bowl, Damages, Musketeers

Super Bowl XLVIII: Channel 4, 10.30pm
Bruno Mars rehearses for Super Bowl performance

The Denver Broncos take on the Seattle Seahawks in tonight's 48th annual NFL final and global television extravaganza. For the less sports-inclined among us, there's the promise of the spectacular half-time show, which pairs the 90's rock icons Red Hot Chili Peppers with the soulful energy of Bruno Mars. It's either going to be amazing or a complete hot mess - and both are fine reasons to tune in. Kick off is at 11.25pm.

Damages: Lifetime, 10pm

Rose Byrne in 'Damages'

Before Rose Byrne found comedy fame in 2011's Bridesmaids, she took the lead in this dark legal drama, which continues its fourth season tonight on Lifetime. Ellen (Byrne) needs help from the omnipotent Patty (Glenn Close), but resorts to deception in order to avoid owning her any favours.

The Musketeers: BBC One, 9pm

Santiago Cabrera as Aramis, Tom Burke as Athos & Howard Charlies as Porthos in The Musketeers episode one

More swashes will be buckled as the period drama continues tonight. The soldiers are commanded to arrest a merchant trader who broke France's trade treaty, and we discover why Athos (Tom Burke) is so grumpy all the time as he is forced to confront his dark past.
