Snowboarding legend Shaun White is not involved, but that shouldn't make the action any less dramatic. This is Slopestyle's Olympics debut and there is British interest with Jamie Nicholls and Billy Morgan.
2. Speed Skating - Men's 5,000
On BBC Two - 2.30pm-4.30pm.
Check out speed skating legend Sven Kramer while you can. The Olympic champ and six-time world champ is one of the greatest of all time in his field and the Dutchman will be the hot favourite to win again in Sochi.
3. Luge - Men's singles, runs one and two
On BBC Two 5.10pm-7pm.
The main thrill of the Winter Olympics for spectators comes from the daredevil aspect of the events. Not many come more crazy and captivating than the luge. Expect your sledging skills to be put to shame.
