Winter Olympics TV Guide: Day 2 - What to watch and when

Winter Olympics on the BBC

1. Snowboard - Women's Slopestyle

On BBC Two and Red Button from 06:00.

There is British interest in the semi-final with Britain's Jenny Jones and Aimee Fuller hoping to make a mark in Slopestyle's Olympics debut. Expect eye-popping tricks and incredible bravery from all the competitors.

2. Alpine skiing - Men's downhill

On BBC Two and BBC Red Button from 07:00

There may be plenty of eye-catching events at the Winter Olympics, but if you fancy some traditional skiing, this could be for you. World champ Aksel Luncd Svindal from Norwat, Olympic champ Didier Defago and American Bode Miller are just a few of the ones to watch.

3. Luge - Men's final

On BBC Two and Red Button from 14.10.

The Sochi 2014 luge track winds its way for 1,814m, has 18 curves and a vertical drop of 131.9m. During a run, the sled can reach speeds of almost 90mph. If that sort of white-knuckle danger doesn't make you want to watch a sport, nothing will.
