The Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? presenter was taken to hospital from Heathrow airport and has been there for over a week, his agent and manager Paul Vaughan confirmed.

"It was a clot in the leg and that can immediately go to the brain or lungs."
He added: "He is determined to leave hospital. But he's not going back to work. This is a nasty wake-up call."
Though Tarrant was initially thought to have suffered an asthma attack on the March 1 incident, it was later confirmed that he had developed a blood clot in his leg.
He has since developed bronchitis and remains at Charing Cross Hospital, but has made daytime trips to his London home.
