Kate Bush tickets for sale on auction sites for £1,475

Tickets for Kate Bush 's long-awaited headline tour are being listed for sale on secondary ticket sites for as much as £1,475.

The star's 'Before The Dawn' 22-date tour are her first live shows since 1979. Tickets went on general sale on Friday morning (March 28) but sold out in less than 15 minutes.

Auction site eBay earlier listed three tickets on offer for £1,200 each as part of the Hospitality package, while ticket marketplace Viagogo has seen passes reach £1,475.

Viagogo said in a statement earlier: "The lowest ticket price on the site is £795 and the highest is £1,250. Just because a ticket is listed at a certain price doesn't mean it will sell for that much.

"There are unique events like this where demand and prices are very high.


"For example, when Andy Murray became the first British man to win Wimbledon in 76 years in 2013, tickets for the final were listed for £80,000 for a pair but the highest anyone paid was £7,500."


Face value prices for the tickets were £49, £59, £75, £95 and £135, subject to a booking fee.


"I'm completely overwhelmed by the response to the shows," Bush said. "Thank you so much to everyone.


"Looking forward to seeing you all later this year."
