Originally released on the PlayStation Portable in 2011, Type-0 will be remade with HD visuals for European audiences, Square Enix has confirmed.
"The voice of our Western fans was instrumental in the development of Final Fantasy Type-0, and we're very excited to release this title soon," explained game director Hajime Tabata.
The game takes place in the "dynamic and turbulent" world of Orience, the same setting as iOS and Android release Final Fantasy Agito, which will also launch in the West.
Originally released in Japan, Final Fantasy Agito will launch as a free-to-play mobile game at a later date.
The game features extensive character customisation, player choice and "large-scale, co-operative battles".
Final Fantasy Agito will be joined by fellow iOS and Android release Final Fantasy VII G-Bike.
Another free-to-play release, G-Bike features high-speed chases, boss battles and more.
