Assassin's Creed Unity features WWII gameplay sections

Assassin's Creed Unity will feature World War II gameplay sections, it has been revealed.

A new Assassin's Creed Unity gameplay video introduces time anomalies - sections of the game where players are taken out of French Revolution Paris.

The gameplay video sees lead character Arno narrowly avoid a speeding train, before climbing the Eiffel Tower to shoot down planes.

Assassin's Creed Unity will launch on November 13 in Europe and November 11 in North America on PS4, Xbox One and PC. It will launch alongside two Xbox One bundles.

The game features a randomly-generated four-person co-operative mode in which players seek treasures.

Ubisoft was recently forced to deny claims that the visuals had been downgraded on PS4 to match Xbox One.
