Though Big Sean and Ariana Grande finally confirmed their relationship last month, we haven’t actually seen them together all that much. But early Monday morning (November 3), they went public in a more visible way, with Ariana posting a picture of the two on Instagram, and Sean re-posting, with the straight-to-the-point caption, “my baby.”
According to the “Break Free” singer, the couple were on their way to her grandfathers’ “celebration of life;” he passed away over the summer.
To this point, the public visuals of the two since rumors of their relationship started have been limited to paparazzi photos, a kiss on a roller coaster, a shadowy Instagram photo, and, of course, their candid hand-holding backstage at the 2014 VMAs.

“Me and her make a lot of music together and the chemistry between me and her when we work is great,” the G.O.O.D. Music rapper told MTV News in September. “We got more in the works too. I feel like her voice is crazy, [just] that that big voice comes out of her is insane. I was probably one of the first people to tweet about her music; me and her been friends for years before anything else.”
The singer was similarly warm when asked about her man in October. “[Sean] is one of the most amazing men in the whole world,” she told The Telegraph Magazine. “I think the world of him, and he’s an amazing person.”
Also on Monday, Ariana dropped her “Love Me Harder” video, featuring The Weeknd.
