Super Smash Bros on 3DS has apparently been hit by a glitch that is handing out 136-year bans to players.
Some users have speculated that the glitch is due to a coding error, and are advising players to avoid online play for the time being or stick to 1v1 matches.

A number of fans have taken to Reddit to report that they received the suspension for repeatedly targeting another player online during four-player 'Fun' contests.
Some users have speculated that the glitch is due to a coding error, and are advising players to avoid online play for the time being or stick to 1v1 matches.
Nintendo imposes sanctions for players who abruptly quit online matches and for poor sportsmanship, but is yet to address the glitch.
Super Smash Bros director Masahiro Sakurai recently opened up about the game's challenging development process, confessing that the project placed heavy demands on his personal life.
Released last month for 3DS, Super Smash Bros hits Wii U on November 28 in Europe and November 21 in North America.
