'Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag' video shows in-game stealth assassinations

A new walkthrough video for Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag has been unveiled.

The IGN video is narrated by the upcoming open-world game's director Ashraf Ismail , who shows how in-game stealth assassinations are executed.

The video also gives another glimpse of underwater gameplay, in which ambient life, predators, fish and plants surround the player.

"This is something that we're really able to push with the next gen - to have this really incredibly dense and detailed environment," said Ismail.

Players are able to explore an underwater cave, and then take the risk of becoming more vulnerable when they emerge from the water.

This innovation is due to game's main character Edward Kenway not carrying weapons or tools while swimming. As Edward resurfaces, he must use his wit and bare hands to gain the advantage over his enemies.

Ubisoft has already confirmed that it knows how to end the Assassin's Creed series, despite that the game hasn't yet launched.

Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag will be released on November 1 in Europe and October 29 in North America for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PC, Xbox 360 and Wii U.

It will also arrive on next-gen consoles Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
