GAME wants 30% of the online video games market, it has been reported.

The British video games retail company said that it hopes to achieve the goal by the end of 2013.

"We are looking to grow our online share to 30% in channel by the end of the year," said GAME chief tech officer Andy Grainger.

"We have big plans for our online offering. Our stores are vital in driving traffic to our app and website.

"The more we grow, the more integrated our channels will become."

The firm expects a fifth of purchasers to shop through their mobile devices, according to MCV .

It is apparently working with IBM to make it so products will be suggested to customers in real time, as they're browsing.

GAME yesterday (August 27) revealed that it is no longer accepting pre-orders for the Xbox One Day One Edition.
