The North American release date for The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD has been announced.
The digital edition will require at least 2.6GB of free space to download.

Nintendo has confirmed that the upcoming HD remake will launch in the continent on October 4.

It was previously revealed that the game will also arrive on October 4 in Europe.
Players in Japan will be first to get their hands on the game, a week earlier on September 26.
It will be available in both retail stores and through the Nintendo eShop for Wii U.
The digital edition will require at least 2.6GB of free space to download.
The remake will feature 1080p graphics, enhanced controls and Miiverse support.
Faster sailing will also be available to players who want to sail quicker than in the original version.
