The 41-year-old Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two host sported smudged eye make-up as she attended the event with fellow television presenter Kirsty Young.

The star, who missed the Strictly Come Dancing photocall at the Elstree Studios yesterday for the GQ bash, wore a Tom Ford midnight blue backless jumpsuit to the annual awards show, which was held at the Royal Opera House.

Winkelman later made reference to photographs from the awards on Twitter, writing: "Oh my. They're not wrong. Eyeliner going in the bin. Ish."
Other guests to grace the red carpet at the event included Emma Watson, Michael Douglas, Sir Elton John and Jessie J.
Watson was honoured with GQ's 'Woman of the Year' award, John with the 'Genius' gong, while Douglas was given the magazine's 'Legend' prize.
