Grammy Awards 2013 red carpet: Drake
An announcement was made on Friday (October 18) at the Wells Fargo Centre, where the concert was to be held, stating that due to technical difficulties Drake would no longer be performing.
However, according to TMZ , the catwalk-like structure Drake performs on above the audience had an electrical problem and sparked fears it could have fallen into the crowd.
The website added that the issue with the apparatus has been addressed and no more shows are expected to be cancelled.
Drake recently admitted that he hates being labelled a "lonely" and "emotional" rapper, adding: "It bothers me so much."
He scored his third number one album in the United States with Nothing Was the Same.
