The film version of the HBO series has been subject to apparently tough contract issues and producer Mark Wahlberg last week said the actors should .
However, Connolly, who played Vincent Chase's (Adrian Grenier) manager and best friend Eric Murphy, has now insisted that the movie is "gonna happen" and production will begin as early as January 2014.
"It's gonna happen. It's a complicated thing, but I'm in," he told TMZ .
Asked about the rumours certain cast members were looking to negotiate bigger deals to star in the project, Connolly revealed: "No, everybody's in line. It's gonna be good... January, we're gonna do it. It's not official, but it will be."
Entourage came to an end on HBO in 2011, before a movie follow-up was announced in January 2012.
Wahlberg said in January that he was hoping for an April or May 2014 release.
