It's hard to talk about the classic movie "Steel Magnolias," without mentioning the Eatenton's Louisiana home. After all, it's where so many pivotal scenes in the film took place: Shelby's wedding, the bittersweet Christmas party, Jackson Jr.'s first birthday. So, you can imagine how excited we were to learn this famous home is for sale.

According to the Los Angeles Times, the home will go up for auction on October 26. Bonnette Auctions states the 5,900-square-foot estate has six bedrooms and six bathrooms. If you're lucky, someone like Jackson Latcherie will sneak in through the window (in a totally non-creepy way, of course). Another treat is the fact that antiques, furniture and movie memorabilia are also available.

We totally appreciate that this home still has the old southern charm that originally captivated us in 1989. Check out the photos below to see the property, and be sure to head over to the Los Angeles Times and Bonnette Auctions for more information.
