Pamela Anderson will be running through the streets of New York, though unfortunately it won't be in slow motion or while clad in a red Speedo. Instead, the Playboy model will be strapping on what we can only hope will be a reliable sports bra, to run the city's marathon this November.
After joining Sean Penn's team for the J/P Haitian Relief Fund, Anderson took to her runner's page to express her dedication to the cause: "To spend time in Haiti is to fall in love with Haiti The magic of this country… The people… The humility… Pride Musicians, athletes and Artists It has been heartbreaking to witness the poverty among people in what should be a very rich country," she wrote.
As for the reaction of friends and family, "People think I'm crazy," Anderson told the Daily News. “People tell me that I really don’t know what I’m getting into, but that’s kind of the story of my life. I’ll just go with it.” Good for you, Pam!
Anyways, here's the "Baywatch" intro, if you need it.
