Dead Rising 3 given 13GB patch ahead of 'Operation Broken Eagle' DLC

Updated story: Microsoft has outlined the updates featured in Dead Rising 3's 16GB title update.

As well as preparing the game for 'Operation Broken Eagle', the patch offers performance stability updates in both single player and co-op mode.


Bugs related to Achievements, user interface and SmartGlass have been addressed, while a new Impulse Trigger feature will notify the player when they are running low on ammo.

Users have speculated that the update includes expansion pack 'Operation Broken Eagle', set for release on January 21.

The DLC contains a new story, a new character, five new weapons, a new combo weapon, a brand new vehicle, an additional costume and new Achievements.


Dead Rising 3 was the second highest-selling Xbox One exclusive in the UK, debuting at seven in the all-format weekly chart.
